‘Order’ is the name of the spells that the Wizards of the Otherworldly Court ‘casts’. It is named so because the ‘incantation’ is literally a set of instructions ‘ordered’ to the Maneg Soul, the source of the Court Wizards’ power.
‘x’ denotes a changeable variable.
Command Class is the first Command of the step used to start the Order. To know what Commands are, click here.
To know about Vague Order Origins, read this chapter.
I’ll sometimes record an Order not prior to its first chapter featuring it if I feel like it.
Whatever Order I made in chapters will be recorded here with more information about them.
Do note that the Order contents shown is the ‘typical,’ ‘general,’ or the first variation recorded. Court Wizards frequently change its contents to suit the situation or improve it like changing wordings to squeeze in more steps, some even modify the Orders invented by themselves. So if you see a Court Wizard giving an Order different than what was recorded here, the sentence before is why.
With the second rule, never use more than you need, all Orders are given with the interest for the least amount of maneg used. The number of steps and the content of the steps (Command and parameters) given itself factor in the maneg cost.
Anything under ‘???’ will be revealed at another time.
Click the directories to view Orders. Also, they are a bit slower to load due to loading the collapsible js, though it’s loaded from the footer. It may not work under the caching but you can still view them and the arrow left by it can still make it easy for you to navigate.
‘maneg’ is the abbreviation of ‘mana’ and ‘energy’ as explained in ‘Alicia Chapter 4: Maneg 101’.
So in other words, it can somewhat be translated into other languages. Just translate ‘mana’ and ‘energy’ in your language, rearrange it, and make a good abbreviation. For example, it would be ‘energi mana’ in the language of my country, abbreviated ‘enma’ (which sounded way nicer).
Maneg has a physical component no matter the Element. This makes Orders like [Barrier] work for all Element, only varying cost to be effective. It is possible for each Element of maneg to do every Order recorded above, with the exception of some Orders such as [Lightning Strike] that rely on the concept of its Element.
Only that an Order is not ‘suitable’ for an Element due to the Order not compliment the emulation of the Element which gives a high cost for it and is not recommended to be ordered. For example, dark maneg will need more maneg for an effective [Elemental Ball], so much that it is not recommended to be given.
Typical Order Composition
Full Order: [Preset]; [Opening], [Command Class/Primary Step], …, [Secondary Step], …, [Acessory Step], …, [Closing], [Order name]
Memorized Order: [Order Name] [Command Class/Primary Step Parameter] [Preset]: Declares measuring unit used. Otherwise, it has to be declared in [Step]s. Usually, Court Wizards used the metric system.[Opening]: Declares that an Order will be made. ‘I order you’ is used for Orders while ‘Follow as I order’ is used for Progressive Orders. [Command Class/Primary Step]: Declares the first steps that make the Order and must exist. The very first step is also referred as the [Command Class Step] as the command of the first step determines what kind of Order it will be. Then, it is followed by additional [Primary Step]s until [Secondary Step]s if any. [Secondary Step]: Declares steps that require a [Primary Step] to work and so on until [Acessory Step] if any. A [Secondary Step] with ‘trigger:’ command needs a [Primary Step] with ‘set trigger’ command declared beforehand. [Acessory Step]: Declares changes pertaining to the concept of the maneg Element, within the Element’s capabilities, used for Orders such as ‘oxidize’ which causes fire maneg to oxidize at its full capacity (default is half capacity). This step can be placed anywhere between the [Secondary Step] and the [Closing], if needed. [Closing]: Declares the end of the Order. ‘Thus is my Order’ is used for Orders while ‘I end my Order’ is used for Progressive Orders. [Order name]: Bestows a name on the Order to allow memorization. [Command Class/Primary Step Parameter]: Used only in Memorized Orders, this declares the parameters that would be used in the [Command Class/Primary Step]
Each step may only have 1-2 Commands, then any amount of parameters needed. Steps with two Commands may be separated into two steps, which will increase Time Interval but also maneg consumption; however, there are Maneg Souls of Court Wizards that don’t consume additional maneg when splitting steps in this case and can reap the benefit without repurcussion. Though in the end, it all depends on what the Court Wizard needs and preference.
