Brief Description

The younger sister of the sixth Light Guardian, Pierre Rickens.

Amelia Rickens wasn’t cut out for fieldwork and so she underperformed in missions. After a piece of helpful advice, she instead found her talent in researching maneg where she made important discoveries that helped to advance Court Wizards, cementing herself as the ‘maneg scientist,’ though the word ‘scientist’ isn’t exactly appropriate since she researches an abstract subject such as maneg. ‘Maneg 101’ was one of the books she had written, compiling the fruits of her research.

Furthermore, she also has invented many Catalysts ranging from very useful to something that she probably made because she was had nothing better to do. Many of her inventions were later mainstream in the Four Nations.

Incidentally, her position and tech-savviness made her the admin of the database which she slowly revamps from its ‘pitiful’ state.

Azhure: So except for this Brief Description (and the one in the World Profile), Character Poem, explanation of terms in the database home (Court Wizards Profile page, Orders page, etc.), and the parts where the year the book takes place in History; everything else was canonically written by her.

Initially, she was shy, timid, and lacking self-esteem. But, after being the maneg scientist, she became confident and eccentric like her brother, often dragging poor souls into her wild experiments. However, this did not rid of her former self as evidenced by her locking a third of her profile from public viewing. And her tendency to omit facts meant that her compromise was to strikethrough any phrases she didn’t like, despite being able to lock them instead.

With the nature of her job, she doesn’t get into Court Wizard politics and couldn’t care less about it. As such, she takes a Yielder stance.

Yet, under all of that, she is still a good-natured girl who knows empathy. After all, who knows if the altercation by the Maneg Soul actually enhances what’s already there, as opposed to imposing something new.

As she had moved away from missions relatively early, she has no particular preference of ordering of note, other than her wild experimental ones.

First appeared in Alicia Interlude 3.

All appearances.
